The Coach's Corner star pulled through big time. Not only did Don sign my custom card and a photo, but he also enclosed three more signed and personalized photos of him during his coaching days. Mr. Cherry is a hockey legend and it's great to get his signature.
Why is Don Cherry wearing a Maple Leafs jersey? The only NHL team he played with was the Boston Bruins. This picture intrigues me.
ReplyDeleteI read his book a while ago and in it he talks about how on multiple occasions he attended Maple Leafs training camp and though it was not often publicized, was property of the organization. That was until he hip checked Ron Ellis as a rookie in camp and was never invited back again.
