Sanguinetti was a first round pick in 2006 by the New York Rangers. After finishing off his junior career with the Brampton Battalion of the Ontario Hockey League, Bobby joined the Rangers AHL affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack for most of the next two years. In the offseason of 2010, Sanguinetti was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes.
Sanguinetti signed a 2009 Heroes And Prospects Update Set card.
