Retired professional baseball player. Played for the Houston Astros, Detroit Tigers, Anaheim Angels, San Diego Padres, Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs and Minnesota Twins.

Autograph obtained c/o the Toledo Mud Hens.

Al Kaline - TTM

Al Kaline

Retired professional baseball player. Played for the Detroit Tigers.

Autograph obtained c/o his home.

Probably the best autograph to add to the Detroit Tigers PC, Kaline's #6 is retired by the Tigers. This Hall of Famer signed my card in blue sharpie. Al does charge a fee of $10 per autograph, but I was more than happy to pay this fee for an autograph from one of the greatest Detroit ball players in the history of the game.

Whitey Herzog - TTM

Whitey Herzog

Retired professional baseball player and manager. Played for the Washington Senators, Kansas City Athletics, Baltimore Orioles and Detroit Tigers. Managed from 1973 to 1990.

Autograph obtained c/o his home.

It's always awesome to get a signature from a Hall of Famer. Herzog was inducted to Cooperstown in 2010. Whitey signed my 1988 Topps card in thin blue sharpie.

Elroy Face - TTM

Elroy Face

Former professional baseball player. Played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Detroit Tigers, and Montreal Expos.

Autograph obtained c/o his home.

Even though Face was known for his playing days with the Pirates, it's great that he played for the Tigers as I can add this to my Tigers PC. Face was a solid reliever for the Pirates during their World Series run and many other seasons.

Mark Fidrych - B

Mark Fidrych

Former professional baseball player. Played for the Detroit Tigers.

Autograph bought at a card shop.

I was absolutely thrilled to get this one. Being a Detroit fan, this was a must have for my collection. Unfortunately, "The Bird" passed away in 2009 but his legacy as a baseball legend lives on. Mark signed this "Action Packed" card in blue pen. Though it is signed in pen, the card looks real nice in person.

Tom Henke - B

Tom Henke

Former professional baseball player. Played for the Texas Rangers, Toronto Blue Jays, and St. Louis Cardinals.

Autograph bought at a card shop.

Another sweet former Jay signature, along with Dave Stieb, it was a no brainer to pick this one up. Henke is arguably the best reliever in Toronto Blue Jays history. Henke signed the card in blue sharpie. I'm not sure when it was signed but it's a real nice crisp signature on the card.

Dave Stieb - B

Dave Stieb

Former professional baseball player. Played for the Toronto Blue Jays and Chicago White Sox.

Autograph bought at a card shop.

You'd think that I wouldn't be too interested in obtaining a Blue Jay's signature as I am a huge Tigers fan, but there was no way I could turn this one down. Stieb is still the only Blue Jays pitcher to ever throw a no hitter. He lost multiple no hit bids in the ninth inning.
