Schenn, who was drafted by the Maple Leafs in the first round of the 2008 National Hockey League Entry Draft, recorded his first career NHL goal at the Bell Centre against the Montreal Canadiens. Luke's younger brother, Brayden, was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Luke spent his junior career playing for the Western Hockey League's, Kelowna Rockets.
