Currently playing with the Laredo Bucks of the CHL. Drafted by the Dallas Stars in 1992.

Bes spent three years in the Ontario Hockey League playing with the Hamilton Dukes and Guelph Storm, before turning pro in 1993. After scoring 40 goals with the Storm, Bes was drafted 58th overall in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft by the then, Minnesota North Stars.
