"Kaner" played under former NHLers, Pat Verbeek and Dale Hunter, during his hockey career. After having a very successful year in the Ontario Hockey League with the London Knights, Pat was drafted 1st overall in the 2007 NHL Draft. In Patrick's third year in the National Hockey League, his Chicago Blackhawks would go all the way, capturing the Stanley Cup, defeating the Philadelphia Flyers in the finals.
